 16 mm thick NYLON 66 sheet supplied as 150 x 200mm

Available in Natural (Cream)

Tolerance on thickness (+0.3 to +1.5 mm).

Main characteristics of extruded Nylons :
 
- high mechanical strength, stiffness, hardness and toughness - good fatigue resistance
- high mechanical damping ability - good sliding properties - excellent wear resistance
- good electrical insulating properties- good resistance to high energy radiation (gamma and X-rays)
- good machinability
 NYLON 66 - Has a higher mechanical strength, stiffness, heat and wear resistance than 6SA. It also has a better creep resistance but its impact strength and mechanical damping ability are reduced. Well suited for machining on automatic lathes.
Maximum continuous use temperature 80 deg Centigarde, maximum short term use temperature 180 deg.
