PTFE (polytetrafluoroethylene)     Main characteristics:  - A wide working temperature range from 260 deg C down to -260 deg C (liquid nitrogen temperature) - Outstanding chemical resistance - Very low coefficient of friction, resulting in unique non stick behaviour - Superb electrical insulating properties - Outstanding weather resistance - Excellent dielectric properties

Carbon Filler is added to PTFE to give enhanced compression and wear properties, also good thermal conductivity and low permeability
